This collection marks the beginning of a different era in my practice. While 'Almain' still reflects an attempt to achieve a certain, recognisable look, I soon felt a profound shift in how I approached art. I began creating less to express emotional intensity and more to immerse myself in the practice of painting itself, to explore, experiment, and simply experience the act of creating, with greater freedom and curiosity.
